Hey gang Producer Lain here,

Happy Tuesday I know we are all feeling the middle of the week so ill get right to it.

Thank you for coming to the mid-bi-tri-quarterly check in. Now, while our CEO and shareholders understand the value of BIPOC and Equine Rider voices, and recognizes that mental wellness within the current sphere is absolutely crucial, we have to circle back and take point on what is always evergreen for us, which is numbers.

Websters dictionary defines numbers as "a quantity or amount" but I know you all, I have seen your outputs, and inputs, your imports and exports, and I have faith that come the end of this quarter, we have QUANTITIES, and AMOUNTS, plural!

My faith in you is in fact, so strong, so tantamount, that I know that this next announcement will excite you all. As COVID restrictions have finally fallen to the wayside, we can now begin our exciting new hybrid work schedule. So, Monday through Friday, you will be in Austin Texas at Tesla headquarters, and Saturday through Sunday, you will be brushing your teeth in between scrum meetings at the new top secret location of Quibi's relaunch, Fibi, in an undisclosed location in Burbank California.

Now I know some of you might have concerns about seeing your families or the legalities of this schedule, or why you need to record a podcast in two separate locations in separate states, neither of which are podcast studios. And all I can say is that the end-to-end process is currently on a need-to-know basis, and that we value your time and energy. All will be revealed in due time, and the blood we took from you back in February is part of the stipulations in your NDA, so if you would like to speak further on this, you can ping me on slack my account, or if you'd like to speak to legal, you cannot.

and now I briefly want to take a moment to read and encourage you all the reflect on some words about our Work Mindset from an entity I admire very much, the company microsoft - i will be introducing to two ideals goblin mode and jomo. Goblin mode is described as a type of behavior which is unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy, typically in a way that rejects social norms or expectations. I want to encourage you to embrace this empowering take and show up to work more as yourself. And lastly, JOMO The opposite of FOMO or the "fear of missing out," JOMO, the "joy of missing out," describes a state of happiness as a result of not doing something an event, a meeting, a conference. We want people to embrace JOMO, and not make employees feel like they are being judged for missing a meeting. Value comes from impact, not visibility. Find a way to do this without compromising efficacy in any way shape or form.
